SEMICONDUCTOR LASER DEVICE AND SEMICONDUCTOR LASER MODULE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor laser device and a semiconductor laser module which achieve low power consumption.

SOLUTION: A semiconductor laser device includes: a semiconductor laser part having multiple semiconductor lasers; a semiconductor optical amplification part having a semiconductor optical amplifier which amplifies laser light output from the semiconductor lasers; an optical waveguide part disposed between the semiconductor laser part and the semiconductor optical amplification part and inputting the laser light to the semiconductor optical amplifier; and a temperature control element which contacts with the semiconductor laser part and controls temperatures of the multiple semiconductor lasers. The semiconductor optical amplification part is operated without being cooled.
