A mobile node mapping information update triggering method, information reporting method, mapping server and mobile node, used in a Locator/Identifier Separation Protocol (LISP) network, the mobile node mapping information update triggering method comprising: a mapping server (MS) receives a mapping registration packet transmitted by an MN attached to the MS and used for updating mapping information; the MS acquires the information of a correspondent node, and according to the acquired information, transmitting a mapping update packet to the correspondent mapping cache corresponding to the correspondent node of the MN, thus triggering the correspondent mapping cache to update the cached mapping information. In the above solution, when the mapping information of the mobile node changes, the mapping server corresponding to the mobile node initiates a mapping information update on the correspondent mapping cache so that the mobile node does not need to update the correspondent mapping cache, thus greatly reducing signaling cost. |
