A module (1) for high concentrating photovoltaics including a housing (2) having a bottom wall (3), four side walls (4, 5, 6, 7) connected to the bottom wall, and at least an aperture (8) located opposite the bottom wall, and a plurality of photovoltaic units (9) housed in the housing and each one comprising a concentrating optical system (10) having a geometric concentrating factor greater than about 100 and a photovoltaic receiver (11) having a photovoltaic cell (12). A number of dissipating linear elements (15) for dissipating heat from the photovoltaic receivers are mounted onto an outer side (16) of the bottom wall. The photovoltaic receivers are arranged along a plurality of parallel rows (13) and the photovoltaic receivers arranged along each row are mounted onto a corresponding one dissipating linear element so as to realize a thermal bridge between each photovoltaic receiver and the corresponding dissipating linear element.
