PURPOSE: An auto tensioner including a housing having an elliptical inside is provided to stabilize a FEAD system effectively, by applying nonlinear tension to a belt. CONSTITUTION: A housing(200) is located adjacently to a pulley(100). A tensioner arm connects the pulley and the housing. The tensioner arm includes a rotary shaft. One side of a spring is connected to one plane of the housing. A rotor is combined to the other side of the spring and the rotary shaft. A pivot bolt fixes the housing and the tensioner arm. The inner radius of the housing is elliptical. |
