GESTURE BASED GAME APPARATUS AND METHOD USING SMARTPHONE

PURPOSE: A game device and a method based on the recognition of a gesture using a smart phone is provided to generate a gesture pattern detecting the movement of the smart phone owned by a user using an acceleration sensor, and to control the state of game using a game control command corresponding to the generated gesture pattern. CONSTITUTION: A game device based on the recognition of a gesture using a smart phone comprises a smart phone(1) and a game execution part(2). The smart phone generates a game control command recognizing the gesture of a user based on sensing information of a sensor. The game execution part controls the state of game according to the game control command. The smart phone comprises a command database(11), the sensor(12), a sensing information processor(13), a gesture recognition part(14) and a command occurrence control part. The command occurrence control part transmits the game control command confirming the game control command corresponds to the user gesture pattern perceived above.
