PURPOSE: A brake system for a vehicle is provided to improve brake performance by supplementing brake negative pressure and by not increasing the capacity of a vacuum pump. CONSTITUTION: A brake system(100) for a vehicle comprises a VIS actuator of a suction manifold(10), a vacuum pipe(60), a vacuum pump, and a vacuum hose(40). The vacuum pipe is connected to the VIS actuator. The vacuum pump is connected to the vacuum pipe and generates negative pressure in order to transmit the negative pressure to a brake booster. The vacuum pipe is connected to the VIS actuator. The vacuum hose is connected to the vacuum pipe and a vacuum chamber(30) and generates additional negative pressure. |
