PURPOSE: A steering wheel angle measurement device is provided to rapidly and accurately measure a steering wheel angle by applying a changed and accelerated value of an acceleration sensor. CONSTITUTION: A steering wheel angle measurement device comprises an acceleration sensor(2), a correcting acceleration sensor(4), and a steering wheel angle calculation unit. The acceleration sensor is attached to a steering wheel(1). The correcting acceleration sensor is attached on one side of a vehicle or a dashboard in order to correct transverse acceleration. The steering wheel angle calculation unit calculates a steering wheel angle by receiving an acceleration value measured from each acceleration sensor.
