<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the color tone of illumination light including fluorescence by preventing heat generation in a phosphor. <P>SOLUTION: Excitation light from an excitation light source 30 is made incident on a phosphor 42, the phosphor 42 absorbs the excitation light to cause excitation emission of green fluorescence, and the green fluorescence is emitted from the same plane as the incident plane of the excitation light. Generated heat in the phosphor 42 is discharged by a heat radiation part 46 provided on a plane opposite to the incident plane of the excitation light. The green fluorescence emitted from the phosphor 42 is multiplexed with first blue light, second blue light and red light from a first blue light source 60, a second blue light source 61, and a red light source 62. The inside of a subject is irradiated with the multiplexed light through a light guide 25. The light quantities of the first blue light, the second blue light, the green fluorescence and the red light are monitored respectively by four photosensors 74a-74d. On the basis of the monitoring result, the light quantities of the respective light sources 30 and 60-62 are controlled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
