<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw member having a hexagon socket which can be used with a general purpose hexagonal bar wrench, and which can achieve a biting function regardless of material of a screw. <P>SOLUTION: The screw member has a hexagon socket at a head part 3 thereof which engages with a hexagonal bar wrench 100. The hexagon socket includes a hexagon opening part which is opened upward, a bottom surface that faces the opening part, and a side surface part which connects the opening part to the bottom surface. The side surface part includes at least one inclined side surface which inclines toward the axial core direction of the screw member. A part of the inclined side surface is formed to be a biting part which locally interferes with the hexagonal bar wrench when the hexagonal bar wrench specified in JIS B 4648 is inserted into the hexagon socket. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
