<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further restrain temperature fall of an asphalt mixture as compared with a conventional technology. <P>SOLUTION: An asphalt finisher is brought to a standby state on a construction site until a dump truck comes. Under a low temperature environment such as an outside air temperature of 5°C or less, a warm-up operation of the asphalt finisher is performed, a cutoff valve 82 is closed, and exhaust air from an engine is led to an exhaust air circulation passage 64. By applying this remaining heat, a surface temperature of a hopper 6 and a bar feeder 7 becomes a temperature ranging from 20°C to 60°C. In this state, an asphalt mixture is put from the dump truck into the hopper 6. When the asphalt mixture of around 150 to 200°C comes into contact with surfaces of the hopper 6 and the bar feeder 7 imparted with the remaining heat, the temperature of the asphalt mixture which is first put becomes 100°C or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
