<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize a vehicle carrier truck and to provide a load carrier vehicle which can smoothly travel in a narrow traveling path while loading an automobile thereon. <P>SOLUTION: In the vehicle carrier truck, a vehicle loading platform 1 is divided longitudinally into two. Under the vehicle loading platform 1, auxiliary wheels 4, 4 which are movable back and forth are provided in a projective manner. When the auxiliary wheels 4, 4 are located at predetermined positions at the rear side of the vehicle loading platform 1, the vehicle loading platform 1 is set to an approximately horizontal vehicle carrying attitude. When the auxiliary wheels 4, 4 are moved and located at front predetermined positions, the vehicle loading platform 1 is set to vehicle loading attitude in which the vehicle loading platform is tilted to be high at the front side and low in the rear side.
