<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper cutting device configured to cut a several hundreds of large-size printed paper sheets in a stacked manner with high accuracy, while minimizing cutting failure. <P>SOLUTION: In the paper cutting device that cuts the stacked large-size paper sheets, the paper cutting device includes a mechanism for placing stacked large-size paper sheets on the surface plate of the paper cutting device, reading an image on a cut line with a line sensor, and preventing paper loss to be caused due to cutting failure by controlling a blade drive mechanism of the paper cutting device when the print image is confirmed on the cut line or a cutting position is determined to be abnormal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
