Disclosed is a process for the preparation of dioxypropane sulphonic acid by interaction of epichlorohydrin and sodium sulphite. The process is carried out first at a temperature of for 1 hour and then at a temperature of 95- for 30 minutes at such molar ratio of components as 1:1, 1:1,1, 1:1,3, with further azeotropic dehydration of the prepared product and separation of finished product by known method. |
