<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bottled barley tea beverage excellent in the balance of flavors even on drinking at any temperature, also having an astringent taste, and suitable for drinking with eating between meals. <P>SOLUTION: This bottled barley tea beverage has 40 to 145 (mg/100 mL) content of polysaccharides obtained by summing up starch content and β-glucan content, 0.50 to 3.00 (mg/L) content of maltose, 0.15 to 0.65 (%) content of barley-originated soluble solid part, 0.02 to 1.0 ratio (catechin/maltose) of the content of 8 kinds of catechin (mg/L) to the maltose content (mg/L), and further preferably 0.01 to 0.67 ratio (gallate type catechin/maltose) of the content of gallate type catechin (mg/L) to the maltose content (mg/L). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
