<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nerve stimulator capable of reducing invasion and troublesomeness. <P>SOLUTION: The nerve stimulator 1 includes: a stimulation signal generation part 12 for generating nerve stimulation signals composed of a plurality of unit pulses; an electrode part 20 having a pair of electrodes; a heart rate measurement part 11 for acquiring electric information of a living body at a plurality of acquisition timings from the two electrodes including at least one of the pair of electrodes, and calculating a heart rate on the basis of the electric information; a lead part 30 for connecting the electrode part, the stimulation signal generation part and the heart rate measurement part; and a control part 13 for controlling the operations of the stimulation signal generation part and the heart rate measurement part. The control part sets the acquisition timing and the generation timing of the unit pulses so that the unit pulses are generated by the stimulation signal generation part between the acquisition timings and an interval of the unit pulse generation and the first acquisition timing after the unit pulse generation becomes equal to or larger than a prescribed value sufficient for the potential change of the living body caused by the unit pulses to disappear. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
