摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a heat exchanger, the method which can fill a gap formed at a coupling part between a heat transfer pipe and fins with a filler to be neither too much nor too little, and thereby improves efficiency of heat exchange. <P>SOLUTION: A heat exchanger 10 comprises a heat transfer pipe 20 and a plurality of fins 30 arranged side by side along a longitudinal direction of the heat transfer pipe 20. The respective fins 30 have the heat transfer pipe 20 pass through holes 31 formed in their surfaces, and are arranged side by side, having gaps L, at peripheral edges of the holes 31 with the other adjacent fins 30 with extension parts 32 and bent parts 33 extending along the longitudinal direction of the heat transfer pipe 20. A substantially triangular gap GP formed among the bent part 33 and second R part of a fin 30, the body part and first R part 32A of an adjacent fin 30, and the outer surface of the heat transfer pipe 20 is filled with a filler 60. The filler 60 is charged by arranging the heat exchanger 10 in a bell jar in which a predetermined vacuum is produced, immersing the heat exchanger in the filler 60 under the predetermined vacuum, and then putting the heat exchanger back under the atmospheric pressure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
