FIXING DEVICE, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a difference in intensity of respective laser beams in an area irradiated with laser beams when toner is fixed with a plurality of laser beams.

SOLUTION: A laser device 21 irradiates a position through which a sheet P passes with laser beams. A light source 41 irradiates the sheet P on which toner is fixed with the laser beams with light. Light reflected on a portion of the sheet P where the toner is fixed is received by a sensor unit 42. The sensor unit 42 outputs a signal corresponding to the amount of the received light to a control unit 50. The control unit 50 adjusts intensity of laser beams emitted from the laser device 21 in accordance with the amount of light indicated by the signal supplied from the sensor unit 42.
