<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device capable of reducing costs by reducing the number of parts. <P>SOLUTION: A power transmission device 1 includes: an outer side rotation member 3; an inner side rotation member 5; a main clutch 7; a pilot clutch 9 for operating the main clutch 7; an armature 11 for connecting and disconnecting the pilot clutch 9; an electromagnet 13 attracting the armature 11 by excitation to connect the pilot clutch 9; and a cam mechanism 15 operated by connection of the pilot clutch 9 and connecting the main clutch 7. The cam mechanism 15 has a pressure ring 17, and a cam ring 19. The pilot clutch 9 is arranged in an outer diameter side of the cam ring 19, and a magnet flux loop L formed by excitation of the electromagnet 13 is formed via the electromagnet 13, the outer side rotation member 3, the cam ring 19, and the armature 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
