DEVICE FOR BENDING METALLIC BAR MATERIAL, SUPPORTING CLAMP DEVICE FOR PREVENTING NECK BREAKAGE, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE METALLIC BAR MATERIAL HAVING BENT PART

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid labor and danger in work and prevent a neck breakage during bending work while securing excellent productivity.

SOLUTION: The device for bending a metallic bar material includes: a means for heating the metallic bar material; a means for thrusting the metallic bar material; and a clamp arm for clamping the metallic bar material and applying bending moment to the metallic bar material by turning with a spindle as the center accompanying the thrust of the metallic bar material. The device for bending a metallic bar material also includes a supporting clamp abutting on a surface of the metallic bar material at a near position further at the rear side of a clamping part of the clamp arm and inhibiting neck breaking deformation of the metallic bar material. The supporting clamp includes an outer claw capable of performing opening and closing operations between a closed state abutting on an outer peripheral side surface of a bent portion of the metallic bar material and an opened state separating from the outer peripheral side surface of the bent portion, and an inner claw capable of performing opening and closing operations between a closed state abutting on an inner peripheral side surface of the bent portion of the metallic bar material and an opened state separating from the inner peripheral side surface of the bent portion.
