<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-contact power transmission apparatus and method that are capable of performing non-contact electric power transmission efficiently even when a relative positional relation between coils changes. <P>SOLUTION: A non-contact power transmission apparatus 1 includes: a power supply circuit 13 that supplies electric power that should be transmitted between a power supply coil L1 and a power reception coil L2, at least one of relative positions and postures of the power supply coil L1 and the power reception coil L2 being variable; a displacement measurement part 14 for measuring displacement of the at least one of the relative positions and postures of the power supply coil L1 and the power reception coil L2 that are variable; and a control part 15 for finding a frequency, at which it is possible to obtain the maximum electric power transmission efficiency between the power supply coil L1 and the power reception coil L2, based on a result of the measurement by the displacement measurement part 14 and controlling the power supply circuit 13 so that electric power having the frequency is transmitted between the power supply coil L1 and the power reception coil L2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
