<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lateral type bag-making, filling and packing machine in which when an end sealing device performing a box motion stops at an interdigitation position to a packaging material, a heater block of the end sealing device is located at an open position, and when the operation of the end sealing device is restarted, the heater block is restored to a locus of the box motion. <P>SOLUTION: When the end sealing device stops (pauses), the heater blocks 31a and 31b stop at the interdigitation positions (HS and V3) where the heater blocks 31a and 31b pinch the packaging material between them (stop operation 1). Responding to the stop operation, the up-down driving servo motor is ordered to move the heater blocks 31a and 31b to the retreat positions (HS and V1) opened in the up-down direction (stop operation 2). Since the heater blocks 31a and 31b are separated from the packaging material in the up-down direction, the packaging material does not melt or thermally denatured by being overheated. When the operation of the packaging machine is restarted, the heater blocks 31a and 31b restart only the horizontal movement, and afterward when the heater blocks 31a and 31b reach the position (H3 and V1) on the box motion, the heater blocks 31a and 31b restart the up-down movement. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
