摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radioactive material separation removal method from a material contaminated by radioactive materials, such as cesium. <P>SOLUTION: Contaminated soil and sludge are put into a treatment tank filled with cleaning liquid, contaminated materials are sucked upward together with fluid into a contact separation path including a plurality of contact removal pieces inside in upflow by air or the fluid, such as liquid, and radioactive materials and very fine particle parts attached to solid particles are separated from the solid particles by bringing the contaminated materials into mutual contact with the contact removal pieces. After the separation, the contact removal pieces, the solid particles and the very fine particle parts from the contact separation path are introduced into a separation tank at the treatment tank upper part, and then, at least the contact removal pieces are circulated into the contact separation path. On the other hand, most of the solid particles and the very fine particle parts other than the contact removal pieces are returned into the treatment tank being an outer region of the separation tank, and the radioactive materials are subjected to discharge treatment to the outside of the tank together with the very fine particles floating.
