<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve photoelectric conversion efficiency by increasing the short-circuit current value of sub-cells in a multi-junction solar cell. <P>SOLUTION: The multi-junction solar cell includes a bottom sub-cell 10 serving as a substrate, and a plurality of sub-cells. At least one of the plurality of sub-cells comprises a p-type semiconductor layer 21 and an n-type semiconductor layer 25 which are lattice-matched to a substrate 10, and a superlattice semiconductor layer 23 which is sandwiched between the p-type semiconductor layer 21 and the n-type semiconductor layer 25 and is constituted by laminating a quantum layer 23A and a barrier layer 23B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
