PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of lithium-titanium composite oxide in which hetero-metal is doped and a lithium-titanium composite oxide manufactured by the same in which hetero-metal is doped are provided to control the size of primary particles and to suppress production of rutile type titanium dioxide by performing hetero-metal doping, wet grinding, and spray drying. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of lithium-titanium composite oxide in which hetero-metal is doped comprises the following steps: solid mixing lithium-containing compound, titanium oxide and hetero-metal-containing compound with stoichiometry ratio; dispersing the solid mixture into a solvent and manufacturing slurry containing particles having an average particle diameter of 0.3-0.8 micro meters by wet grinding; spray drying the slurry; and sintering the spray dried slurry. The hetero-metal is one or more selected from a group consisting pf Na, Zr, K, B, Mg, Al and Zn. The wet grinding step uses zirconia beads and the grinding speed is 2000-4000 rpm. In the spray drying step, the input hot-blast temperature is 250-300 deg. Celsius and the ventilation hot air temperature is 100-150 deg. Celsius. The hetero-metal is doped in 0-5 wt%.
