METHOD FOR STABILIZING SOIL USING COAL ASH

PURPOSE: A soil stabilizing method using coal ash is provided to suppress elution and mobility of heavy metals contained in soil using fly ashes generated from a power station, or a mixture of coal ash and sludge of coal mine as a heavy metal stabilizing material. CONSTITUTION: A soil stabilizing method using fly ashes comprises the following steps: setting a level of contaminated soil to correspond to the lower side of ground or water considering the depth of soil, coal ash, and sludge of coal mine(S10); sprinkling a stabilizing material comprising coal ash or a mixture of coal ash and sludge of coal mine on the set contaminated soil(S20); mixing the stabilizing material and the contaminated soil(S30); tamping the mixed layer of the stabilizing material and the contaminated soil(S40); sprinkling loamy soil on the tamped mixed layer(S50); and spreading the spread loamy soil(S60).
