PURPOSE: A valve apparatus of a shock absorber is provided to reduce the cavitation depending on the flow difference of the oil since the compression path and the stretching path of a piston valve are formed so that their inlet diameters are smaller than its outlet diameters. CONSTITUTION: A valve apparatus of a shock absorber comprises a piston valve(62). The piston valve comprises a compression path(62a) and a stretching path(62b). The compression path or the stretching path are formed so that their inlet cross-sections are smaller than their outlet cross-sections. A spiral groove is formed on the inner circumference of the compression path or the stretching path. |
