<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device capable of easily acquiring an image for three-dimensional model generation, and a three-dimensional model preparation support method. <P>SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, the electronic device includes three-dimensional model generation means, photographing position estimation means, and notification control means. The three-dimensional model generation means generates three-dimensional model data using a plurality of images for which an object of a target to generate the three-dimensional model is photographed. The photographing position estimation means estimates a photographing position of the image photographed last among the plurality of images. The notification control means notifies a user of a position to photograph the object next, on the basis of the generated three-dimensional model data and the estimated photographing position.
