<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively separate or combine a visible light image and an infrared light image and also improve resolution of the infrared light image by using an image sensor having a widespread color filter. <P>SOLUTION: All pixels are subject to an arithmetic operation that separates signal components of RGB visible light and signal components of infrared light by finding solutions for simultaneous equations whose variables are RGB, from color signal components including the infrared light taken by an imaging element with a color filter of four colors of CMYG. Consequently, the visible light image composed of RGB signal components and the infrared light image composed of infrared light signal components are outputted. Alternatively, the outputted visible light image may be compositely outputted by being converted to a brightness signal including the infrared light and a color difference signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
