The invention relates to the means for cleaning fluid from particulate matter (mechanical impurities) and can be used in water treatment systems of engineering, chemical, mining, metallurgical, oil refining and other industries, as well as in water utilities. In the disclosed direct flow hydrodynamic filter a new design of a filter element and a slurry trap ensures reduction of hydrodynamical resistance of filter and significant reduction of fluid drain (up to 1-2 % instead of 10-20 % of the total flow) with proportional lowering the volume of industrial waste and area of appropriate slurry ponds while increasing the efficiency of purification, which can simplify the design, reduce the overall dimensions of the body, reduce manufacturing cost and the filter operation cost. |
