IGNITION COIL FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent: breakage of an insulating case due to stress from a bush and the inside of the insulating case when a GND terminal inserted into a case becomes large by an error during molding; and poor connection when the GND terminal inserted into the case becomes small by an error during the molding.

SOLUTION: An ignition coil for an internal combustion engine includes: a flange 46 having a substantially cylindrical-shaped conductive bush 54 formed in a case 40; and a GND terminal 50 having conductivity inserted into the case. The GND terminal includes: a bush side part connected to the bush; an iron core side part electrically connected to an iron core 20; and an elastic part. The elastic part makes a dimensional correction from the bush side part to the iron core side part.
