<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary device which makes it easy and efficient to pull up long-rooted vegetables by softening the soil around the vegetables with a simple means. <P>SOLUTION: The device includes: a base 2 which is connected with a pressured water source and which has branches to distribute pressured water supplied from the pressured water source to multiple directions; and a plural number of long pipe-shaped insertion tubes 5, 5 the lower ends of which are closed and the upper parts of which are connected to the base 2 communicating with the distribution branches. The insertion tubes 5, 5 are to be inserted into the ground at plural points surrounding a long-rooted vegetable plant 17 and have a plural number of discharge holes from which the pressured water 19 is discharged to the opposing face being opposed on either side of the long-rooted vegetable plant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
