<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: A controller of an embodiment comprises input processing means, detection means, processing means, and power amount control means. The input processing means performs input processing of image data obtained by imaging an object by imaging means. The detection means detects variation in the imaged object, on the basis of plural pieces of image data subjected to the input processing by the input processing means. The processing means performs processing corresponding to the variation detected by the detection means.
