<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fine adjustment type cutting tool configured to easily respond to an increase in the number of cutting blades without requiring time and effort for manufacturing the tool body, while allowing reliable and stable fine-adjustment of the positions and projection amounts of the cutting blades. <P>SOLUTION: On the outer periphery at the front end of the disk-like tool body 1 to be rotated around an axis O, a plurality of chip pockets 4 are spaced in a peripheral direction. Between at least two adjacent chip pockets 4 in the peripheral direction, a slit 8 communicating with the chip pockets 4 is extended around the axis O. Between the chip pocket 4 and the slit 8, flexible parts 9 are formed integrally with the tool body 1. At the front ends of the flexible parts 9, the cutting blades 3 project on the front end side of the tool body 1, and adjusting means 10 are provided for adjusting the projection amounts of the cutting blades 3 by tilting the flexible parts 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
