<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light receiving/emitting element which is small sized and excellent in light detection accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: A light receiving/emitting element comprises: a substrate 2 composed of a semiconductor material of one conductivity type and including on one principal surface 2a, a dent 2b having an inclined plane 2b1 and a bottom face 2b2 continuous with the inclined plane 2b1; a light-emitting diode 3 provided on the one principal surface 2a of the substrate 2; a first photodiode 4 provided on the bottom face 2b2 of the dent 2b; and a second photodiode 5 provided on the inclined plane 2b1 of the dent 2b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
