<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical apparatus which can reduce eddy current loss effectively and in which a compact tape wound core is manufactured at low cost and incorporated. <P>SOLUTION: An electric apparatus (rotary electric machine 1000) includes a tape wound core 901 made of a soft magnetic body and formed by winding a magnetic ribbon having a plurality of opening groups comprising one or more opening parts, and a winding provided to a side face part of the tape wound core 901, and the magnetic ribbon has regions sectioned between the opening part groups and arrayed in the winding direction of the magnetic ribbon, a maximum size of the opening parts in the width direction of the magnetic ribbon being larger than a maximum size of the opening parts in the winding direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
