PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating hyperlipidemia by alternately using a compound and an angiotensin II receptor blocker is provided to remarkably suppress concentration of triglycerides, and to enhance HDL cholesterol in blood. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating hyperlipidemia contains a compound of chemical formula 1 or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and an angiotensin II receptor blocker as active ingredients. The angiotensin II receptor blocker is selected from the group consisting of olmesartan or a salt thereof, olmesartan medoxomil or a salt thereof, telmisartan or a salt thereof, losartan or a salt thereof, and valsartan or a salt thereof. Hyperlipidemia is hypertriglyceridemia or hypertriglyceridemia-related disease such as atherosclerosis or pancreatitis.
