<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink set excellent in color reproducibility, moisture resistance and gas resistance, with which an image having an excellent color balance can be recorded. <P>SOLUTION: The ink set includes at least a yellow ink, magenta ink and cyan ink, wherein the yellow ink contains, as a colorant, at least one compound selected from the group consisting of a compound expressed by general formula (y-1) or its salt and an azo compound having a triazine ring and a pyrazole ring.
