<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve maintenance performance of a ventilator, in the heat exchange type ventilator used in a domestic kitchen and a commercial kitchen. <P>SOLUTION: As a sensible heat exchange means 8 in which an exhaust passage 1 and an air supply passage 2 are kept into contact with each other through a heat exchange plate 7 without intersecting with each other, is disposed at a lower means of a gas range 11, the sensible heat exchange means 8 is positioned at a lower means with respect to a user, thus the maintenance can be easily performed.
