A method for the identification of polyphenols in plant extractions consists in obtaining chromatograms and comparison of identification characteristics of the substances under investigation to identification characteristics of the standard. Chromatographic analysis is carried out within ultraviolet range at four wavelengths: 225, 255, 286 and 350 nm, on the chromatogram retaining timeis measured, with measurement of heightof same peak on chromatograms at four wavelengths: 225, 255, 286 and 350 nm, with obtaining the values,,, and by means of computer hardware, by the algorithm developed spectral characteristics of the substance are determined – relative values of height of peaks- at 255 nm,- at 286 nm,- at 350 nm through division of those values of the peak height by the height of the peak at 225 nm. |
