A stem material shredder relates to the field of agriculture, in particular to machines for shredding stem materials. The stem material shredder is comprised of a receiving cylindrical tank, a screw loading mechanism with varying diameter of a screw shaft, a cutter, which consists of a cutting apparatus of the disk type and a shear sidewall, which is fixed to the lower part of the receiving tank, a unloading unit and a drive. The shape of blades of knives of the cutting apparatus of the disk type provides for sliding cutting with the optimum (60-70 degrees) sliding angle. The design of the stem material shredder provides lowering of the energy consumption of the process of shredding the material on the account of reducing the energy for delivery and compacting the material prior to cutting, the use of sliding cutting with the optimum sliding angle and gravity-flowing unloading of the shredded material. |
