<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device which, when a second engagement device transitions from a direct engagement state to a slip engagement state, is capable of preventing the start time of an internal combustion engine from becoming longer because of a timing delay in the determination that the second engagement device has transitioned to the slip engagement state. <P>SOLUTION: A control device for a vehicle drive device is provided, in which a power transmission path that links an internal combustion engine and wheels is provided with a first engagement device, a rotary electric machine, and a second engagement device. In a case where there is an internal combustion engine start request and the control device performs start control increasing the rotation speed of the internal combustion engine by means of the rotation of the rotary electric machine, the control device initiates rotation speed control of the rotary electric machine prior to causing the first engagement device to transition to a slip engagement state, and after the first engagement device has transitioned to the slip engagement state, the control device stops rotation speed control and initiates torque control, and then causes the second engagement device to transition to the slip engagement state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
