PREFORM FOR MOLDING PLASTIC BOTTLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preform for molding a plastic bottle whose resin weight is ≤25.0 g and whose volume is ≤600 ml.

SOLUTION: A preform for molding a plastic bottle has a bung part 2, a support ring 3, a barrel 5 and a bottom 6 which blocks an end of the barrel 5. The resin weight of the preform is ≤25.0 g. A thin-walled part 4 under the support ring which is 5.0-10.0 mm in length and comprising a minimum wall thickness part is formed under the support ring 3, and the bottom 6 is formed to decrease its wall thickness gradually toward a gate.
