An energy- and/or data supply unit (16a) supplies the portable machine tools with energy i.e. electrical current, and/or data to operate the portable machine tools in operating mode. A guide unit (18a) exerts compulsive force on the portable machine tools in the operating mode, where the force acts in a direction facing the base body unit. Supply elements (20a, 54a) e.g. energy rail and energy guide chain, of the energy- and/or data supply unit are arranged at the guide unit. #CMT# : #/CMT# The base body unit is designed as a guide rail base body. An independent claim is also included for a portable machine tool. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Machine tool guide device for forcible guide of a portable machine tool of a machine tool system (all claimed) to process a workpiece. Uses include but are not limited to router, fret saw, drilling machine and circular saw. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The energy- and/or data supply unit supplies the portable machine tools with energy and/or data to operate the portable machine tools in the operating mode, thus enabling insertion of a machine tool guide unit of the portable machine tools into the guide unit for movable arrangement of the portable machine tools at the base body unit. The device prevents lifting of the portable machine tools in a reliable manner, avoids unwanted interruption of power supply and/or data supply in a reliable manner, and ensures the power supply and/or supply data in coupled state of the guide unit in a reliable manner by the machine tool guide unit.
