<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of internal combustion engine, configured to improve engine output and exhaust performance by controlling blow-by of fuel. <P>SOLUTION: An injection amount calculating means 5 for calculating the amount of fuel to be injected from an internal injection valve 11 is provided in a control device 1 of an internal combustion engine 10 having the internal injection valve 11 for injecting fuel into a cylinder 20, and a port injection valve 12 for injecting fuel into an intake port 17. The control device also includes a port injection control means 2 for controlling the amount of fuel to be injected from the port injection valve 12, and an overlap period control means 4 for controlling the overlap period in which both an intake valve 27 and an exhaust valve 28 are opened.
