<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine whether or not an accident has occurred in a power line for supplying power to a load. <P>SOLUTION: An accident determination device in a power system in which a first switch which closes when power is supplied from a first bus line and a second switch which opens/closes complementarily together with the first switch and closes when the power is supplied from a second bus line are connected in series between the bus lines comprises: a detection device for detecting an accident on the basis of current supplied to the first and second bus lines and load current; a control device for controlling so as to open the first switch together with the second switch in the case that the accident has been detected when the power is supplied from the first bus line, and controlling so as to open the second switch together with the first switch in the case that the accident has been detected when the power is supplied from the second bus line; a voltage application device for applying first voltage to a first power line when the accident has been detected; and a determination device for determining whether or not the accident has occurred in the first power line connected between the first and second switches, on the basis of current flowing in the first power line according to the first voltage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
