Disclosed are a method, an apparatus and a system for sending a message, belonging to the field of network transmission. The method comprises: receiving a message and acquiring from the message a message keyword used to identify the message; acquiring a message characteristic value corresponding to the message keyword; acquiring an egress port from a port mapping relationship list according to the message characteristic value, the port mapping relationship list comprising a mapping relationship between a message characteristic value range and an egress port; and sending the message via the acquired egress port. The apparatus comprises a receiving module, a message keyword acquiring module, a characteristic value acquiring module, an egress port acquiring module, and a sending module. By means of the present invention, the phenomenon of flow imbalance caused by acquiring an egress port based on a port number and a message characteristic value in the prior art can be avoided, a bandwidth utilization rate of an aggregating group is improved, and the consistency among egress ports is ensured.
