In order to provide an electromechanical electric drive device that can return common mode current from a rotary electric machine side to a virtual neutral point of a power conversion device in the electric drive device, the electromechanical electric drive device is provided with: a rotary electric machine (900) provided with a rotor, a stator having a stator core (941) to which an armature coil (945) is mounted, and a housing (912) that holds the stator and at which the AC terminals (902U-902W) of the armature coil (945) are disposed; a power conversion device (200) that is affixed to the outer periphery of the housing (912) and that has an inverter circuit (140) and AC busbars (802U-802W) that connect the inverter circuit (140) and the AC terminals (902U-902W); a conductive bar (950b) and conductive ring (950c) that collect the common mode current stemming from stray capacitance of the stator and that are provided contacting the stator core (941); and a connection wiring (700) that connects the conductive bar (950b) and the virtual neutral point (510G) at the DC input side of the inverter circuit (140).
