<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ejection ink treatment device capable of dripping an ejection ink into an ejection ink tank without scattering the ejection ink to the surroundings. <P>SOLUTION: The ejection ink ejected from a nozzle of a recording head flows into an ejection ink receiving chamber CH of an ejection ink receiving part 10 via an ejection ink passage 20, and the ejection ink may form a membrane M at an ejection port 11A of the ejection ink receiving part. In this case, the membrane is expanded and broken if pressure P1 in the ejection ink receiving part is higher than atmospheric pressure P2, however, since the ejection ink receiving chamber CH communicates with atmospheric air through an atmospheric air communication hole 17A, pressure inside and outside the membrane becomes atmospheric pressure. By this arrangement, the membrane M is not expanded nor broken, and slowly erased, thus preventing the scattering of the ejection ink to the outside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
