<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump with a suction bell having a thin thickness and a smooth cross-sectional shape, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: In a pump 1, a suction part 6 is connected to a tip of a cylindrical casing part 2, and a main shaft 12 to which an impeller 18 is fixed is rotatably attached to the casing part 2. The suction part has: a suction liner 4 connected with one end side of the casing part 2; and a suction bell 5 connected with the other end side of the suction liner 4, and formed to be a curved cross-sectional shape from a tubular formed metal sheet by performing spinning press process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
