<p>The invention relates to an expandable table (1) having a main table plate (2) and having at least one supplementary table plate which can be positioned next to the main table plate (2). In order to be able to expand a table of this kind to a relatively great extent in spite of a narrow main table plate, the at least one supplementary table plate is designed as an insert plate (7) which can be guided obliquely downwards beneath the main table plate (2). The insert plate (2) has in each case one component (15) of in each case one pivot bearing at its lower end (7d) on both transverse sides, in each case one further component (16, 17) of the pivot bearing, which further component is connected to the main table plate (2), engaging into said component (15) in the extended state of the insert plate (7) with integration of the pivot bearing (15; 16, 17).</p> |
